HST student Harry Benjamin Larman wins Weintraub Award

HST/DMSE graduate student Harry Benjamin Larman in the Medical Engineering and Medical Physics (MEMP) doctoral program was among 12 students to win the 2011 Harold M. Weintraub Graduate Student Award sponsored by the Basic Sciences Division of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The Harold M. Weintraub Graduate Student Award recognizes outstanding achievement during graduate studies in the biological sciences. Mr. Larman develops new molecular screening technologies that help us better understand autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis and type 1 diabetes. He currently works under the supervision of Stephen J. Elledge, the Gregor Mendel Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School.
