Greg Distelhorst is a PhD candidate researching state-society relations in non-democracies with a focus on contemporary China. His dissertation addresses the quality and determinants of government responsiveness through experimental, econometric, and qualitative study of China’s government transparency reform. He has also conducted field research on non-governmental labor regulation in global supply chains.
