BGSA will host a Benefit Dinner for the entire Cambridge/Boston Area on Friday, May 9, 2014 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Lobdell Dining Hall, MIT Room W20-208.  Dinner will be free for all ticketed guests.  Donations are recommended, but not required.  All proceeds will go towards local non-profit organization i-trek.  i-trek works to match students with opportunities outside the classroom and support them in achieving their full potential.  The team comprises several MIT graduate students, a University of Illinois graduate student, working professionals, and retirees with a wide range of skills and experiences.  Their interest and expertise lends itself to a diverse thought leadership that will bring the resources and the outreach opportunities to steer students into various Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) professions and associated fields of study.  Tickets can be obtained online.  Donations can be accepted at the event or online.  Contact bgsa-exec@mit.edu for more information.  Learn more about i-trek on their website.
