Information on various fellowship aid resources is available from these web pages. Individual departments may have additional information.

External fellowships: Many outside organizations fund fellowships for graduate students. This page provides a partial listing for which the fellowship officer in the Office of the Dean for Graduate Education serves as the fiscal agent.

Fellowships for internationals: This page lists a collection of outside funding sources specifically geared towards internationals.

Presidential Graduate Fellowship Program: MIT has established a prestigious program of Presidential Fellowships to recruit the most outstanding students worldwide to pursue graduate studies at the Institute.

ODGE fellowships: Generous donors have provided MIT with permanent funds in support of fellowships, many of which have unique restrictions. The Office of the Dean for Graduate Education administers a number of these endowed fellowships through an annual competition.

iGrad Scholarship Database: Visit the scholarship database at MIT’s iGrad portal. Enter and set up your own free account, available for all MIT faculty, staff, students, spouses, and partners, to access the full site. Jobs and scholarships are posted, along with videos and articles with career and financial planning tips.

Study abroad grants: The “study abroad grants” page lists some opportunities for study outside the United States. The level of support ranges widely.
