Biography

I am a junior in chemistry, minoring in statistics, at Montana State University (MSU). I attended a summer research program at Cornell University last summer and fell in love with organic chemistry. My research interests include organic synthesis and polymers, which I am starting to pursue in a lab on the MSU campus, where I am going to synthesis an polymer surfactant that is used in mircofluidic devices. Outside of school and research, I am the president of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), a club through which I can fulfill my goal to help out my fellow Native American peers at MSU and organized outreach events for native youth all over Montana.
