MIT Department: Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
Status: PhD Student
I grew up in southern Maryland, about an hour outside of D.C. I started undergrad at the Naval Academy; I transferred to Howard University during my sophomore year. I graduated from Howard University with a B.S. in computer engineering in 2015. I started grad school right after Howard. I’m in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science working on my Ph.D. My research centers on the intersection of human intelligence and artificial intelligence. Outside of research, I play lacrosse, participate in efforts for community diversity and inclusion, and enjoy traveling (which is surprisingly can be done as a grad student)!
